A 26-Year Commitment Becomes a Brand
Abdul Latif Jameel launched Jameel Motorsport in December 2023, consolidating more than two decades of motorsport involvement — spanning sponsorships, team development, and event organization — under one brand. The move reflected a formal commitment to developing motorsport both within Saudi Arabia and internationally, with direct ties to the country’s Vision 2030 program.
Hassan Jameel, Deputy President and Vice Chairman, described the launch as “the beginning of a new chapter.” He noted that the company had participated in 26 competitions across six motorsport disciplines before forming the unified brand, and that the goal was to “consolidate and elevate the cumulative efforts of the past.”
Rally Jameel: Women at the Wheel
One of Jameel Motorsport’s most prominent properties is Rally Jameel, an annual navigation rally. Its third edition marked a milestone: the event opened to women participants from around the world for the first time, drawing a record number of applications.
Hassan’s own Dakar Rally debut in January 2026 — which he described as the toughest experience of his life — grew from the same motivation he had when developing Rally Jameel: a belief that motorsport builds character and resilience, and that those benefits should be open to everyone.
Talent Pipeline and the GR Saudi Driving School
Jameel Motorsport also absorbed the GR Saudi Driving School, launched in collaboration with the Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation. The school produced the GR Saudi team, which competed in the Saudi Toyota Championship, and is designed to identify and develop young Saudi drivers.
That pipeline has real stakes. Abdul Latif Jameel Motors’ platinum sponsorship of the Saudi Pro League reflects the company’s broader view that sport — across disciplines — is a credible route to social and economic development.
Saudi Arabia now holds a prominent position on the global motorsport calendar, and Hassan has positioned Jameel Motorsport as a primary platform for channeling national energy into that growth — with a clear focus on the next generation of Saudi talent.
