CEO James Dondero shares $27 million with His Staff
About 15 years ago, Nevzat Aydin founded one of Turkey’s largest online food delivery firms. After Aydin sold his firm, he decided to share something special with his staff.
According to CNN Money, the CEO of Yemeksepeti has paid approximately $27 million to his 114 staff members. This paid out occurred after selling his food delivery company service for $589 million.
The reason for his generous payout was to show his gratitude to his staff. Aydin shared that the success story of Yemeksepeti didn’t happen on his own or overnight. With the help, hard work, and dedication of his staff members, Yemeksepeti has become a successful company. When the company started 15 years ago, there were only three employees working for the organization. Through commitment and persistence, the company now has 370 employees and delivering over 3 million meals every single month in Turkey.
One of the amazing perks of Yemeksepeti would be their commitment to delivering food and their reward are generous bonuses. The employee’s bonuses are worth roughly $237,000 on average. Aydin paid for their bonuses through the selling of his shares of profits based on the selling of his food delivery firm.
The employees at Yemeksepeti are paid approximately $1,000 to $2,000 per month. This means that their bonus payouts are estimated to about 150 times their monthly income. Fascinatingly, the employee bonuses tops Wall Street bonus for 2014, which was about $65,000.
